AA Series

  Why are so few rechargeable batteries used in battery products like camera, shaver and toy? The reason is that the voltage of these electrical products is designed according to the alkaline primary batteries with 1.5V/cell while the voltage of NiMH and NiCd batteries is 1.2V/cell. Thus, using such batteries always makes people feel lack of power and shortage of use time. That’s why few people are willing to use rechargeable batteries. Fortunately, the NeuCell NiZn rechargeable battery has solved this problem efficiently with an output voltage of 1.6V/cell. From the view of economy, using NeuCell rechargeable batteries is more economical. Taking some brand alkaline primary battery and NeuCell NiZn rechargeable batteries for comparison: the retail price of primary AA batteries of 2 cells is RMB2.2/1000mAh and the price of NiZn AA/1000mAh rechargeable battery set of 4 cells with a charger is RMB50. Under the same conditions, using the former batteries can take 598 pictures with each picture of RMB0.0037 while using NiZn batteries can take 840 pictures for one charge and such batteries can be recharged for 200 times so that each picture is of RMB0.00015. It is evident that NiZn rechargeable battery is the most ideal replacement of NiMH, NiCd and alkaline primary battery with a bright future.

 
      
 
SC Series

  SC Series batteries are the ideal power supply for power tools with the features of high power, long lifespan, no memory effect, safe and no pollution. In the power tool market, NiCd SC battery as the main power supply has been facing more and more limitations due to its pollution and it will disappear from the market sooner or later. Since EU has placed restrictions on the products containing lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyl from entering into EU market, the developed countries have paid more attention on the environmental pollution and made stricter limitation to such products. Li-ion battery is environmentally friendly but it is costly and likely to explode at high temperature. In a word, the green rechargeable NiZn battery is the most ideal replacement of NiCd battery.

 
  
  
 
D Series

  The features of small volume (~50mL), light weight (e.g. 6Ah, ~140g) and high power (~2kW) make D-size Ni-Zn battery suitable for high-power motorcycles starter and jump-start. The power for starting an ordinary motorcycle is ~500W and our SC-size battery can meet that requirement. However, the power for starting high-power motorcycles, ATV, snow truck or large mowing vehicle is 1kW or more than 2kW. Currently, the lead-acid batteries used as starters for those high-power vehicles with a capacity of 17Ah have been limited severely for the lead pollution. Our 12V D-size Ni-Zn battery with the starting current from 200A to 300A is an ideal replacement of lead-acid battery in both high-power motorcycle starter market and jump-start market.

  The capacity of D-size Ni-Zn battery is from 4Ah to 8Ah and such battery is suitable for medium and high grade light electric bikes. In order to meet the government new standards , most of those bikes adopt lithium battery. However, the price of lithium batteries is expensive. For example, the price of light bicycle using 36V and 8Ah to 10Ah lithium batteries is RMB2780 to RMB4280 and the valid period of battery is two years. The retail price of lithium battery is from RMB1000 to RMB1800, twice more than lead-acid battery. Ni-Zn power battery, with only 30% of weight of lead-acid battery and 60%-70% of the price of lithium battery, will be the ideal and economical power supply for electric bicycles.

   
 
F Series

  F size NiZn rechargeable battery is the battery of high power and large energy density and it adapts to the growing power battery market.
  Energy density, power density, cycle life, safety and cost are five main performance elements of power batteries. These five elements contradict each other. Meanwhile, they have to compete with gasoline automotive technologies. That is the biggest challenge the whole field of power battery technology faces.
  At present, only e-bike is able to achieve zero emissions and has become mass-produced. Taking China for example, the annual output of e-bike has increased from 58,600 to 30.13 million since 1998. As a developing country, not all people are able to afford a car. Therefore, the demand for e-bike will continue to rise. Nowadays, battery becomes the biggest obstruction in the development of electric vehicles. The existing batteries are usually of limited energy density resulting in lack of driving range, heavy body, long charging time and high cost. Especially the government stipulates new electric bicycle standards, which regulates that the speed should be below 20 km/h., the weight should not exceed 40kg, the nominal voltage of battery should be below 36V, the motor rated continuous output power should not exceed 240W and the driving range should not be less than 25km. At present, the main existing batteries are lead acid battery and Li-ion battery and the former is more widely used. The weight of 36V/12-17Ah lead acid battery is 12-18kg, accounting for 30%-45% of the whole bicycle. And the weight of 36V/8-10Ah Li-ion battery is 2-3kg, only 16%-17%of that of lead acid battery. However, the price of Li-ion battery is as twice as that of lead acid battery. In order to meet the requirement of weight limit, those electric bicycles using lead-acid batteries have to adopt lighter but more expensive alloy materials for the frame, which gives cost pressure on the those consumers who are of low income and take the electric bicycles as their main transport vehicles. In comparison, the weight of NeuCell NiZn battery pack is only 30% of that of lead-acid and the price is only 60%-70% of Li-ion battery. Meanwhile, NiZn battery pack is safe and flexible and not afraid of pressure or dropping. And the output power is great and the working temperature is wide from -20°C to 50°C. It is obvious that the NiZn rechargeable battery will be the ideal and economical power supply for electric bicycles.

Starting Battery

  With the good performance of high rate discharging, NiZn battery is particularly suitable for those starting batteries requiring high rate discharging. For example, 12V1.5Ah NiZn battery can reach the continuous power of 700W, much over the momentary starting power of 500W for normal motor bicycles need. We have developed series starting batteries for different kinds of power requirements.

Energy-storage Battery

  With the solar energy growing, the demands for energy-storage batteries are increasing. Normally solar batteries absorb energy in the daytime and it supplies power in the night or cloudy days. Thus, energy-storage batteries can store the electricity and work in the night or cloudy days. At present, the main existing energy-storage battery is lead-acid battery. However, such battery is of short lifespan, low power density, and poor performance at high temperature. What’s more, lead pollutes the environment seriously. With the growing demand for “Green environment”, lead-acid will eventually withdraw from the market.
  NiZn rechargeable battery, as a new green energy of great performance, long lifespan and low cost, will be the ideal energy supply for energy-storage batteries.
